The “I Don’t!” Method is a self-help book focused on personal change and breaking unhealthy habits through identity transformation. Based on the ideas of neuroplasticity and narrative therapy, the book introduces a process that encourages readers to move from the mindset of “I can’t” to the more empowering “I don’t.” Through practical guidance and reflection, the book explores topics such as addiction, anxiety, emotional eating, and self-criticism.
At Exhibit Advertising, I designed the layout, illustrations, and cover for Davis’ book with full creative freedom. The project included developing visual concepts, metaphors, and illustrations that complemented the text. The 151-page book features 45 illustrations, with each chapter having its own distinct visual style.
